As the faculty adviser to the Northwestern Journal of International Human Rights, I am pleased to direct your attention to the latest edition (https://web.archive.org/web/20111016204352/http://www.law.northwestern.edu/jihr) that includes considerable information, analysis, and views about the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and its jurisprudence and practice during 2010, as well as the other major international tribunals. This special edition covers the Atrocity Crimes Litigation YearinReview (2010) Conference at Northwestern University School of Law, held on January 31, 2011, and which I moderated. Among the distinguished participants was William Smith, the International Deputy CoProsecutor of the ECCC and some of whose comments are published in the abridged transcript of the conference. Readers also will find useful information about the ECCC in my Introduction, my Lines of Inquiry Memorandum, and the article by Professor Valerie Oosterveld.
