Defense Team Reveals Pol Pot Shared Little with his Nephew
On Thursday, April 26, 2012, the Trial Chamber of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) continued trial proceedings in Case 002 against accused Nuon Chea, Ieng Sary, and Khieu Samphan. As scheduled, the Chamber spent the morning examining witness Saloth Ban, who is both Pol Pot’s nephew and the former Secretary General for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Democratic Kampuchea (DK).
