Memory of Atrocities Project

The Memories of Atrocities Project (MAP) is an effort to allow survivors of atrocity crimes to tell their stories. Through the therapeutic storytelling process, interviewees reflect back on their experiences, sometimes told here for the first time, and weave their memories together into a coherent narrative. MAP then distributes those stories to as broad a viewership as possible via the Internet in order both to provide a global educational resource and to put a human face on the atrocity crimes perpetrated throughout the world. MAP:Cambodia is the beginning of this process.
